Lindsay is joining Walker with over twenty years of experience in the public sector at both the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Her expertise is in parking policy, parking management, equitable mobility and safety. As a co-founder of the Parking Reform Network, she has helped develop implementation resources and build a coalition of supportive parking reform allies. She oversaw a $5 million Safe Streets and Roads for All grant to develop safety action plans for six counties in the Chicago region and led CMAP\’s Safe and Complete Streets program. She has held various leadership positions in local and national transportation efforts, including representing CMAP on the Association for Metropolitan Planning Organization\’s Active Transportation Leadership team, as a member of Illinois Department of Transportation\’s Pedestrian Working Group for the Strategic Highway Safety Plan, and serving as a parking policy expert on FHWA\’s Peer Review Committee on Parking Cash Out policy.
