Jay Popp is Walker’s Senior Vertical Transportation Advisor. Jay has over five decades of consulting experience on numerous projects throughout the United States and Internationally. With a previous employer, Jay established their entire stadium design practice. He is also a certified elevator inspector.

Jay specializes in the design of SuperTalls and MegaTalls throughout the world along with custom bespoke elevator applications throughout the world including “inclined” elevator systems from concept design through construction administration. Jay is responsible for providing and overseeing a wide variety of vertical transportation consulting services. These services include traffic analysis / system studies, bespoke custom design services and solutions, technical support of unique projects, and peer review of documents and deliverables.
